I am a fragile glass with broken finesse. Walking through the wilderness at twilight, I see the slender woods hidden behind the dark fog.
Inhaling the misty air in-letting it swim through my eyes, lungs flirting with the absolute oxygen, wanting more; I continue walking. The forest is a mysterious entity and my atoms wish to be dissolved in its enigmatic beauty.
The moon beams filter through the canopies and a gentle breeze comes along making me sway to its fluid movement. I sit on the wild grass drenched with evening dew. I let go. The breeze plays a symphony through my hair. It’s so simple really. To be away from emotions, yours and everyone else’s and feel peaceful. The smell of the woods and the earthy mud evoke a sense of equilibrium to my vulnerable soul.
This place, with these trees and twigs, grass and the greens…everything. This is my haven. A place I call mine. These enticing woods…can I lose myself in them for as long as I breathe? Maybe.
But for now, let me just be me, while I’m here. Free from my emotions. Free from complexity. Free from this world. And free from this life…

You didn’t just take a nature walk through the wilderness… you became one with all the natural wonders you encountered… right down to the atoms. The places you, our tour guide, take us, your readers, transcend forward/reverse, left/right, and up/down. And since those directions don’t exist… we could not ask anyone but you for directions. I’m so glad you know the way to get there… and have shown us the way to get there. Thanks for sharing your haven / heaven on earth.

I’m thrilled to hear this! I’m glad I could involve the readers vis-à-vis the walk through the wilderness.
Now, this piece might be purely fictional in nature but the meaning behind it and the images I was painting for myself while writing it down.. It felt real.
It’s a pleasure to share this with the world and get such beautiful feedbacks. I thank you sincerely once again. 🙂

We all need time to be alone with our thoughts away from the stress of unwanted emotions. When I discuss the need for balance in life for good health, this is a very important component mentioned often. You write beautifully. If you ever have a chance, I would love to know your opinion on the topics I discuss. I’m certain you would bring great relevance to the topics and key insight which could help fellow readers.
Stay healthy and happy.

I enjoyed reading it… twice over. I felt a “twinge” of awkwardness in these last lines:
“This place, with these trees and twigs, grass and the greens…everything. This is my haven. A place I call mine. These enticing woods…can I lose myself in them for as long as I breathe? Maybe.
But for now, let me just be me, while I’m here. Free from my emotions. Free from complexity. Free from this world. And free from this life…”
If I could write something as haunting… and got that far, I’d re-write, dropping out the “Maybe” and the “But” starting the next line as “For now, let me be… ” Takes away the hesitation or timidity and becomes more emphatic.
Just sayin’… 🙂

Thank you so much. It’s always a pleasure to hear from your side.
The “maybe” and “but” reflect my state of being while I was penning down the words. It felt chaotic and demented but I wanted this piece to stay true to my raw feelings and therefore, I deliberately made no changes to it. “Let me be me” washes away all my worries somehow. 🙂

Free from drama supplied by those about us, calling unto our soul to puppet itself as they do also, pay homage to the little god of distraction, preventing the truth to break free upon us.
Nice and inspiring writing. Good job indeed.

Beautifully written. You not only have walked through the wilderness, but also managed to dissolve yourself and anyone reading it. You were not alone, you had all these readers walking along with you through your powerful choice of words. “Can I lose myself in them for as long as I breathe”?- My favorite line. The idea behind the write up is inspiring, to push away the mundane and melt in the melancholy of the wilderness. You made it all the more beautiful,a masterpiece with your style.
Good Work.
